    The Radiologist will provide expert imaging analysis and opinion, performing various radiological procedures, and providing consultation to referring physicians.

    Sub-specialty imaging expertise is considered an asset.

    The Radiologist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses.

    Responsibilities:

    • Interpret and diagnose medical images, such as X-rays, CT scans, and ultrasounds.

    • Perform radiological procedures, including fluoroscopy, mammography, and non- vascular interventional radiology.

    • Participate in quality assurance and improvement programs to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

    • Stay up to date with new developments and advances in radiology through continuing education and professional development.

    Requirements:

    • Medical degree and completion of a residency in Radiology.

    • Cross-sectional or Breast fellowship preferred.

    • Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Radiology.

    • Provincial medical license or eligibility for Provincial medical license.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Graduate of a recognized Radiologic Technology program

    • Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT)

    • Member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)

    • Current CPR certification

    • Applies safe and effective radiation practices as well as infection prevention and control practices

    Radiology clerks are the first point of contact for the patient, whether that is someone calling the clinic, or walking through the front door. We are looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills to greet our patients. In this role, the Radiology Clerk will also maintain the clinic appointment schedule and work to update patient data and records accurately, while working according to established standards, policies and procedures of the organization.     Required Qualifications:

    • Graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant program

    • Previous healthcare experience preferred and previous radiology experience an asset

Today we are looking for a passionate Billing Clerk who will share in this approach.

    In this role, the Billing clerk will use their excellent time management and multi-tasking skills to support the billing activities of CGA Medical Imaging, as well as assist in the development and implementation of initiatives such as policies, procedures and quality analysis, and other billing management activities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Generating and submitting online invoices to Alberta Health and multiple 3rd party billing providers

    • Address queries received on billing issues, processes, and templates as encountered

    • Review and ensure completeness of billing

    • Reconciliation of all third party billing claims

    • Preparation of bi-weekly billing & collections reports to management

    • Perform the day-to-day processing of accounts receivable to ensure customer collections are maintained in an efficient and accurate manner

    • Proactively monitor and follow-up on collections of outstanding billing

    • Liaison with customer to professionally address billing queries and/or investigate

    • Maintain up to date knowledge of Alberta Health billing codes and CGA billing practices

    • Maintain up to date knowledge of Alberta Health billing practices and compliance requirements

    • Perform quality assurance checks on reports and exams done at CGA Medical Imaging

    • Ensures understanding of all administrative areas within the clinic

    • Maintains effective communication with other administrative and management staff

    • Support leadership in the development, research and implementation of billing related policies and program enhancements

    • Assists in the orientation of new staff members

    • Makes recommendations to administer quality improvement, standards and education

    • Other duties as required

    Required Qualifications:

    • 2-3 years of experience in a Diagnostic Imaging environment required

    • Previous experience in medical billing preferred

    • Experience in accounting or Accounts Receivable an asset

    • Knowledge of Alberta Health billing codes and processes

    • Proficient in MS Office

    • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

    • Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    • Ability to work efficiently while doing repetitive tasks
