  • General Ultrasound

A general ultrasound looks at the body’s internal organs. This is most commonly used to assess the abdomen, pelvis, urinary system, genital organs and glands, including the thyroid.

    Vascular Ultrasound

The vascular ultrasound assesses the blood flow in veins and arteries to detect any blockages, clots, and/or other conditions.

    Obstetrical (Pregnancy) Ultrasound

An obstetrical ultrasound determines the presence of an embryo and examines the fetus to assess growth and well-being. Learn more.

    Breast Ultrasound

A breast ultrasound assesses for any abnormalities in the breast tissue and surrounding lymph nodes.

    Musculoskeletal Ultrasound

This type of ultrasound looks at muscles and joints throughout the body.

    Cardiac Ultrasound

Cardiac ultrasound is commonly referred to as an echocardiogram. Heart valves, chambers and walls are examined using Doppler ultrasound to assess heart structure and function.

    Scrotal Ultrasound

This ultrasound focuses on the testicles within the scrotum. A scrotal ultrasound uses sound waves to help identify the causes of any pain or lumps/swelling. It can also identify varicoceles, which are varicose spermatic veins. This ultrasound can be used to identify scrotal torsion, which is an urgent condition.
